NOTES:
With the official death of Britpop (it passed peacefully away during the Euro 96 semi-final penalty shoot-out), there's a lack of focus to this chart. Some critics may not wish to be reminded of how highly placed Kula Shaker were. On the other hand, at least Ocean Colour Scene just missed out.
Also bubbling under were Denim's second album (extraordinarily), and Nirvana's posthumous Live From The Muddy Banks Of The Wiskah.
