A later addition to the third floor was the beauty parlour, which opened in early-1974. Designed by Tim Whitmore in full-on deco liner style, and run by Regis (a soi-disant visagiste) it was, like the food hall, ahead of its time, offering natural beauty products and therapies as well as sun beds and massages.
